Zalyznyak is called the Ukrainian "ginseng" in modern folk medicine. It is one of the remarkable plants growing in Ukraine, especially common in Crimea. Why is it called that? Because its vitality is so strong that it grows right through stones. In folk medicine, it was used in decoctions to treat various gastrointestinal diseases: gastritis, duodenitis, stomach ulcers, and even bleeding. Zalyznyak normalizes digestive organ function, soothes the walls of the stomach and intestines, and protects against irritation.
